Fright Night with a Book - Grab a Mystery Book!
Wrapped horror, mystery & suspense books are yours if you dare! Each paper wrapped book includes a few words about the book on a tag. These gently used books do not need to be checked out. They are yours to keep! 
1 per person. *October 1st - 31st While supplies last.
 

Make a Book Page Pumpkin - Craft to go! 
Pick up a bagged kit with instructions to make a 3D pumpkin from a book.

Apply to be a Teen Volunteer

*Currently all teen volunteer positions are full, however we will contact you when a position opens up.

Looking for a great way to contribute to your community, share your skills and talents, impress colleges and future employers, and/or get community service hours for graduation?

Granby Public Library wants to help you help us! We are looking for teens (ages 13 - 18 years) to help in a variety of ways:

  • Craft Preparation
  • Organizing & Shelving Materials
  • Cleaning/Organizing the Library
  • Assistance with Children's Programs

Other? If you're interested in volunteering or collaborating in a different manner as part of a project for another organization (National Honors Society, Boy Scouts of America, etc.), please discuss this with the Youth Services Librarian, Janice McArdle  janicemcardlegpl@gmail.com


You may print the following forms, or visit the Library to pick up a Teen Volunteer Form and a copy of our Teen Volunteer Policy. Forms can then be turned in at the library Attention: Janice McArdle.
